The Department of Private Law covers the entire field of private law in its teaching, research and services. It focuses on Swiss private law (Swiss Civil Code, Code of Obligations and the ancillary legislation) as well as European and international private law (including UN Sales Law, Incoterms etc.), national and international civil procedure law, debt collection and bankruptcy law and arbitration.
